SVIT – DORA – ZORA
SVIT is a preventive health program aimed at the early detection and prevention of precancerous changes and cancer of the colon and rectum. It invites men and women aged 50 to 74 to participate every 2 years.
ZORA is a preventive program that detects precancerous and early cancerous changes of the cervix. This means that within the ZORA program, gynecologists can identify in time those women who have a precancerous or early stage of cervical cancer through examinations of healthy women. It includes all women aged between 20 and 64, who are invited to participate every 3 years.
DORA is a structured, population-based program designed for early breast cancer detection. Its goal is to decrease breast cancer mortality among women in the target group by 25 to 30 percent. The program voluntarily enrolls all women aged 50 to 69, who are invited every two years to undergo a screening mammogram, which is an X-ray of the breasts.
