Patients over 19 years of age who no longer have a chosen general practitioner can register at the additional family medicine clinic. Medical staff will temporarily assign you to this clinic, where you can remain registered until you find a new general practitioner.
Our General Medicine and Family Medicine Outpatient Units provide comprehensive, continuous healthcare for individuals, families, and the community — regardless of age, gender, or medical condition.
Your Personal Family Doctor
Your personal doctor (family physician) is your first point of contact in the healthcare system. He or she:
Monitors your health status regularly,
Diagnoses and treats illnesses,
Supports recovery after disease or injury.
Most services are provided in the outpatient unit, but if necessary, your doctor may also carry out visits at your home.
Prescriptions and Medical Equipment
Your family doctor prescribes the required medications and medical-technical aids authorized by law. Following the doctor’s instructions for taking medication is essential, since incorrect use can be harmful to your health.
Referrals and Specialist Care
When needed, your doctor will refer you to:
Specialist examinations or treatments,
Hospital care,
Ambulance or medical transport,
Spa or rehabilitation treatment (based on medical assessment and approval by an appointed physician or medical commission).
Important Notice
Before visiting your doctor, please check for possible absences or schedule changes.
