Health Education Center Novo mesto

The Health Education Centre (ZVC) provides both structured and unstructured health education programs for the entire population within its catchment area. Workshops are held in the premises of the health institution, as well as in schools, kindergartens, workplaces, associations, and the local community.All activities are free of charge and take place at pre-scheduled times.

The centre’s activities focus on education, awareness-raising, and counselling related to healthy lifestyles. Its goal is to help individuals maintain good health and adopt positive lifestyle changes that reduce health risks.

As part of the “Together for Health” program, the centre organizes health education workshops intended for all adult residents of Slovenia.
In addition, it conducts health education for children and adolescents, as well as oral health education.
