Patients over 19 years of age who no longer have a chosen general practitioner can register at the additional family medicine clinic. Medical staff will temporarily assign you to this clinic, where you can remain registered until you find a new general practitioner.
Since 1996, the Developmental Clinic, located on the third floor of the Novo Mesto Health Center, has been dedicated to the care and treatment of children and adolescents with developmental disorders.
The clinic employs healthcare professionals from various fields, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, a physiotherapist, a pediatrician, and a social worker.
It serves the broader regions of Dolenjska and Bela Krajina.
The main mission of the clinic is to monitor children at risk of developmental delays who are registered in the high-risk child registry and to provide early intervention for those with developmental disorders.
The treatment process begins with an examination by a physician, for which a referral from the child’s primary doctor is required.
Appointments can be made in person, online via the eNaročanje system, by phone at 07/39 16 726, or by sending the referral by mail.
Baby Handling sessions are held every third Wednesday of the month from 12:00 to 13:00 in the Health Center’s conference room (third floor).
Please note that Baby Handling sessions do not take place in June.
The clinic’s nursing staff includes Tatjana Potočar and Darja Magnik.
