Self-paid services

Health services and care are, in accordance with Point 1, Paragraph 1 of Article 42 of the Value Added Tax Act, exempt from VAT, and therefore, VAT is not applied.

Prices are listed in euros (€).

Self-paid health services are intended for individuals who:

• do not have compulsory health insurance in Slovenia,
• wish to use health services that are not covered by compulsory health insurance,
• personally express a wish to use specific health services.

Patients who register as self-payers must sign a declaration confirming the use of self-paid or premium services before receiving health care.
