We inform all employees and visitors that the Novo mesto Health Center, located at Kandijska cesta 4, Novo mesto, has video surveillance in and around the premises. Additionally, surveillance is in place at the Health Station Šentjernej, located at Prvomajska cesta 5, Šentjernej.
Purposes of Video Surveillance:
- Control of entry and exit for the protection of people and property,
- Necessity of ensuring the safety of employees, patients, and visitors, as well as the protection of property,
- Control of the proper recording of employees’ working hours,
- Monitoring of key restricted areas and parts of the building to ensure the protection of life and health and the safeguarding of important property.
Specific Aspects of Processing:
- Live video monitoring by an authorized receptionist (“extended eye”),
- Storage of recordings, which can only be accessed in accordance with a predefined protocol.
Retention Period of Recordings:
- As a rule, one month, but not longer than six months.
Rights of Individuals:
Each individual subject to video surveillance possesses the right to access recordings depicting them, as well as the rights to erase, rectify, object to, and transfer their data, provided that the conditions stipulated by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 are fulfilled. Furthermore, individuals are entitled to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner in instances of suspected breaches of personal data protection.
