Patients over 19 years of age who no longer have a chosen general practitioner can register at the additional family medicine clinic. Medical staff will temporarily assign you to this clinic, where you can remain registered until you find a new general practitioner.

Department of Occupational, Traffic and Sports Medicine
Occupational, Traffic and Sports Medicine provides health care for workers, drivers, students, athletes, and recreational participants in order to:
protect life and health and maintain working ability,
prevent and detect occupational diseases, work-related diseases, work injuries, and resulting disabilities, as well as diseases and injuries related to traffic and sports,
rehabilitate the sick and injured in cooperation with active health services, institutions, and employers.
The Outpatient Unit for Occupational, Traffic, and Sports Medicine primarily carries out:
preventive medical examinations prior to employment,
periodic and other targeted preventive medical examinations,
medical examinations for drivers of all categories,
medical examinations to assess fitness for possession and carrying of weapons,
preventive medical examinations for athletes and recreational participants,
risk analyses and health assessments of workplaces, as well as the duties of an appointed physician in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
The services performed by the Outpatient Unit for Occupational, Traffic, and Sports Medicine are payable by the client, employer, or self-paying patients.

Information and Instructions
Due to the organization of work, examinations are performed only by prior personal or telephone arrangement: (07) 39 16 835.
Before visiting the doctor, please check for possible absence.
If the doctor performing preventive examinations has not participated in the risk assessment, employers are requested to attach the risk assessment for the relevant workplace to the referral.
For a preliminary and periodic targeted preventive medical examination, please bring:
referral (Form 8.204 or 8.205), completed, signed, and stamped by the employer,
A validated health insurance card and a valid personal document (ID card or passport),
glasses or contact lenses, if prescribed,
other medical devices, if used,
A driving license if employed or working as a driver,
diabetes card if diabetic,
reports of specialist examinations that may affect work ability assessment,
ZPIZ Slovenia decision on work ability (for disability categories II and III),
medical record or extract from medical record (obtained from your personal doctor),
arrive fasting..
For medical examination of driver candidates or for renewal of driving license validity, bring:
valid personal document (ID card or passport),
driving license (if already held),
medical record or extract (from your personal doctor),
ophthalmologist’s report, glasses or contact lenses, if prescribed.
For medical examination for determining medical fitness for carrying weapons, bring:

Examinations in the physiology of work performed at the Outpatient Unit for Occupational, Traffic, and Sports Medicine:
Electrocardiography (ECG) – examination of the electrical potential of the heart muscle,
Spirometry – examination of respiratory capacity,
Optovist vision testing – near, far, color, night, and depth vision, phoria, visual field orientation,
Perimetry – visual field examination,
Audiometry (ADG) – hearing test,
Bitermal frequency vestibulogram – test of the responsiveness of the inner ear balance system,
Anthropometry with nutritional assessment (BMI).
Regulation on Health Conditions for Motor Vehicle Drivers
In accordance with Article 18 of the Regulation on Health Conditions for Motor Vehicle Drivers (Official Gazette of RS, No. 47/11), the price of medical examinations under this regulation is determined based on:
The number of points assigned to each medical examination, and
The point value, which is equal to the value set for occupational, traffic, and sports medicine services by the Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia (ZZZS) and published on its website.
According to Article 73 of the Drivers Act (Official Gazette of RS, No. 109/10), the Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia covers only the cost of control examinations for persons with disabilities who drive vehicles adapted exclusively to their abilities.
