Accessibility
The Novo mesto Health Centre is committed to ensuring the accessibility of the website https://www.zd-nm.si in accordance with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 30/18 and amendments) for all users.
Accessibility Statement
This accessibility statement applies to the website https://www.zd-nm.si.
We aim to make the use of this website accessible to the widest possible range of users. Therefore, we continuously design and adapt the website to be accessible to users with different types of disabilities, including those with visual impairments (blind, partially sighted, color-blind), hearing impairments (deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind), and users with various cognitive or comprehension difficulties.
To ensure accessibility requirements, several systemic adjustments have been implemented:
- responsive design (content layout adapts to screen resolution),
- keyboard navigation (for users who cannot use a mouse),
- appropriate color contrasts (between text and background),
- predictable website functionality,
- use of structured heading levels for easier navigation.
Level of Compliance
We assess that the accessibility of the website www.zd-nm.si is partially compliant with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act (ZDSMA) due to the exceptions listed below.
Non-accessible Content
We continuously monitor and improve the accessibility of our website. However, some published content does not meet all the accessibility requirements as defined by the Act. Users may request access to such content in an alternative form by contacting us by post or email (contact details below).
Examples of such content include:
-
Scanned documents in PDF format (such as signed internal acts, annual reports, etc.) are available but may be difficult to read, even for general use, unless magnified.
The reason lies in the disproportionate burden caused by the time and financial resources required to optimize or reformat these documents.
-
Some elements may not contain optimal alternative text descriptions.
The reason lies in the disproportionate burden that would be caused by adding alternative text retroactively, as most publications refer to past events and would therefore have limited practical value for users.
Preparation of the Accessibility Statement
The website in its current graphical form was published on 01 July 2022.
This statement was prepared on 01 July 2022 based on self-assessment.
The statement was last reviewed on 19 April 2023.
