Department of Physiotherapy

The Department of Physiotherapy provides physiotherapeutic treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal diseases, rehabilitation after injuries, as well as preoperative and postoperative rehabilitation.

The service includes the following activities:

Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 – 20:00
Breaks: Morning 10:00 – 10:30, Afternoon 14:30 – 15:00

APPOINTMENTS
 
You will be scheduled based on the submission of the original work order document (referral), which must still be valid according to the date of issue. Submit the referral::

• by post (ZD Novo mesto, Kandijska cesta 4, 8000 Novo mesto, Physiotherapy), or
• at the entrance to ZD Novo mesto.

The referral must be submitted within the legally prescribed period after its issue to be included in the waiting list:

• within 21 days if marked URGENT or ROUTINE,
• within 7 days if marked VERY URGENT.

After this period, the referral is no longer valid, and entry into the waiting list is not possible.
 
You will receive written notification of the scheduled appointment by post.

To ensure we can contact you regarding your scheduled service, please check and provide at least one contact detail (telephone number or email) on your referral.

INFORMATION FOR SCHEDULED PATIENTS
 
Please come to therapy in suitable sports clothing and footwear, and bring a large towel. For easier organization of work in the department, we expect you to attend therapy punctually and regularly. Please report any possible absence in time – in person, by phone, or by email.
 
If your absence is excused, you will be rescheduled for the first available appointment. If your absence is unexcused, you will be removed from the waiting list in accordance with the Patients’ Rights Act (ZPacP) and the Regulation on Scheduling and Managing Waiting Lists.
